<description>I hope you enjoy your vacation. I am looking forward to your next update. Please explain something for me……once I have compressed and encrypted a file, folder……do I need to keep the original item around?

I hesitate trashing them because there have been times when I have password protected my material and had them encrypted only to find that when I tried to decompress them, I would receive an intercept stating that the file could not be opened. I am using 7zX.1.4.2 r 2.
