7zX creates a folder called __MACOSX whenever it unzips files. If this is a temporary file, it should be deleted when the zip/unzipping processed is finished. Otherwise, it's a great product!

It's a great program. Thanks. ;)

But I would like to report that, after I created a 7-zip archive with Chinese characters inside, I tried to use 7zx to extract it but seems 7zx judged that I would like to compress again rather than extract. The problem does not exist if I change the filename to English.

I agree with SCJ, it should make only one archive. That seems more logical to me.

other things :
-a progress bar would be nice
-it's pretty hard to cancel a compression

thank you for this software, by the way

I just don't get this program. I drag multiple files to the 7zX icon on the dock, and instead of archiving the files all into a single 7z file, it creates separate 7z files for each file. Makes no sense.

Hello - this is great tool - in "PackingPack Duet" with The Unarchiver. But I have detected, that added Automator's workflow for Finder is not working properly. To correct this, edit workflow with Automator: remove the 1st step (action) and leave only the 2nd one. After this, selecting files/folders in Finder and choosing action for making archive with 7zx, works OK.
