   I can't compress files or folders with 7zX. I've tried it with the automator action as well as just dragging and dropping the files onto the application. Am I doing something wrong, or is this an issue with 1.6.7 on OS X 10.4.11?

   7zX version: 1.6.7
   Mac OS X version: 10.4.11

   Here are a few questions which could help identifying your problem:
   1) Which language are you using with your operating system?
   2) Where did you copy 7zX in order to install it? (i.e. internal or external hard disk)
   3) Are you booting your Mac from the same disk?
   3) What is the full path to the 7zX application? (i.e. /Applications/7zX.app)
   4) Do you have write access on the folder containing 7zX and the folder containing the items you are trying to compress?

   Also, I realize now that maybe I should have been a little more specific. The error message I'm getting tells me that it can't decompress the folder. Here's the exact output from 7zX when I try to compress:

   This error is displayed when you have an archive with the same file name in the same folder as the items you are trying to compress. For example, you most likely have a folder called "MyFolder" and an archive called "MyFolder.zip" in the same location.
   
   At that point, 7zX should create an archive named "MyFolder.7z", but notices your ZIP archive and focuses on that rather than launching the compression routines.
   
   For a quick workaround, try moving the items you are trying to compress to a different location (the Desktop would be a good place), or deleting the older archive before trying to create a new one.
