7zX 1.5.3 includes a new GUI, built with ease of use in mind.
This new release of 7zX fixes some problems we found with the new password detection feature: it looks like the compression core expands 0 B files and folders before prompting for a password, and this caused 7zX not to prompt the user on certain archives.
Last but not least, it also includes some interesting optimizations and a rewritten Self-Extracting Archive core.
7zX 1.5.1 is not your regular maintenance update: our software now automatically detects password-protected archives; also, we have completely rewritten the compression routines, which should now be much faster and efficient!
